What is TYG?

Our drink is specifically designed to support optimal gut health. We’ve crafted a drink that contains well-known ingredients like BCAAs and combined them with cutting-edge probiotics and other functional ingredients, recognizing the gut is key to general wellbeing. We have explicitly chosen to avoid using artificial sweeteners, flavours and preservatives as we believe a more natural approach is better for the gut. Gut issue can affect 50% of athletes and given the gut is said to represent almost 70% of the immune system, and is estimated to produce 90% of the body's serotonin (the happy hormone), it’s fair to say it’s pivotal to general wellbeing.

How regularly should I drink TYG?

We recommend having a can of TYG daily, to support optimal gut health. Gut health is all about creating healthy sustainable habits as the goal is to maintain a well balanced gut microbiome, with optimal levels of good bacteria.

TYG, previously known as Biome is a new improved recipe. We’ve added essential vitamins to further support your immune system, such as vitamin C and a range of B Vitamins

I'm an athlete/sports professional, can I drink TYG?

Yes, we only use the highest quality ingredients in our product and it is Informed Sports certified, meaning it has been anti-doping tested and safe for athletes of all levels to consume.

I already drink kombucha, what’s the difference?

Kombucha is fermented and contains probiotics however the strain of probiotic found in kombucha is not native to the gut microbiome therefore you will not be replacing any good bacteria that you are missing. The strain in TYG is native to the gut and is called bacillus coagulans.

I already take probiotics, can I also drink TYG?

Yes, there are lots of different strains of probiotics and getting a mix is generally recommended.

Is TYG an energy drink?

Whilst there are no energy yielding ingredients in TYG, how well you absorb nutrients is dependent on having good gut health so in that sense, by supporting optimal gut health you are supporting your body’s natural energy production.

How was TYG started?

Having experienced years of gut health issues and struggling to find a sports drink that didn't just worsen her symptoms, our founder Aoife Morrin, decided to take a holistic approach & create something new. The future of sports drinks is here! "Gone are the days of sugary sports drinks. This is not what our body needs, and anyway, there is a societal need to reduce sugar in the diet. A sports drink needs to refresh you and offer you some form of muscle support. But we’ve taken that one step further. What is the shelf life of TYG?

Do you offer free shipping?

Yes, we offer free 2-3 day tracked delivery for all orders. If you wish to get next day delivery then a delivery charge will be applied. The options are given on the checkout page.

When will my order arrive?

We do our best to ship out in-stock orders the next business day. Once your order leaves our facility, you can expect 2-3 day delivery for UK domestic orders placed before 12 pm. UK domestic includes Scotland, Channel Islands and Northern Ireland.

How do I track my order?

As soon as your order ships, we’ll send you a shipping confirmation email with your tracking ID number. If you have a TYG account, you can also find your tracking ID number in the Order History section of My Account. What are probiotics?

Probiotics are good bacteria. We have a mix of both good and bad bacteria in our gut microbiome and the goal for optimal gut health is to maintain a healthy balance. We can do that by introducing and supporting the growth of the good bacteria which can be done by consuming both probiotics and prebiotics. Prebiotics feed the good bacteria and are found in food sources such as green apples, bananas and oats.

What probiotics are used in TYG?

The strain of probiotic used is called Bacillus Coagulan. The strain we use is naturally encapsulated which means it reaches the gut alive and can withstand stomach acids and the manufacturing process. There are more than 2 billion CFUs per can, this is the same level as the dose used in the in vivo and in vitro tests done on it. The results demonstrated efficacy in reducing IBS-like symptoms.*

How long does it take for probiotic supplements to work?

The short answer: It depends. There are several factors that come into play, like why you're taking the probiotic, the state of your health, and the strains you're taking, to name a few. That being said, researchers have looked at the timeline for several common conditions that probiotics are known to support and found some similarities. If you put all the research together, the general consensus is that it can take anywhere from a couple of days to several weeks for your probiotic to start working.

What are natural flavours?

Our natural flavours are oils, essence and extracts from natural sources, such as spices, fruit, plants or vegetables.

What sweetener is used in TYG?

We use stevia to sweeten TYG because it’s natural, which we believe is better for the gut than artificial sweeteners and sugar. Stevia also does not elevate blood sugar levels which we believe is a key factor in achieving optimal health. There is only a small amount of stevia used in the drink (across all flavours) and therefore it is officially classified as low sugar drink.

Why do you use natural flavours?

We wanted our drink to have what we believe are key functional elements to support optimal gut health AND taste great. When you open a can of TYG, it should taste and smell the same every time, and natural flavours help make that happen.

hy do you use citric acid, ascorbic acid and malic acid in your drinks?

We use a combination of different acids to help us keep the drink stable. Some random acid facts for you: • Did you know ascorbic acid is another name for Vitamin C? • Citric acid is a weak organic acid, that naturally occurs in citrus fruit. • Malic acid is an organic compound, which occurs naturally in all fruits & many vegetables.

I'd like to return my TYG purchase. What now?

If for any reason you are not happy with your purchase, please reach out to us at Our customer service team will be happy to either replace your purchase or issue you a refund. Please note that returns or exchange requests must be made within 30 days of their delivery date. Additionally, there must be no more than 3 cans missing from each returned package for a full refund

How do I return or exchange a tray of TYG?

For a refund or exchange on your purchase, contact and we will send you a prepaid return slip. Once your package is received, we will process your request and issue your refund. Refunds will be processed using the same payment method you used at checkout. For exchanges, items will be shipped within 5-7 business days.

What do I do if my tray contains defective/damaged cans?

Our cans undergo thorough quality assurance procedures to ensure they live up to our high standards. However, if you find a damaged or defective can upon arrival that doesn't meet your expectations, please send us a photo of the defect so that we can assess the situation and prevent it from happening again. We will either replace the cans or issue you a full refund, whichever you prefer.


TYG subscriptions are completely flexible and you can subscribe to any of our products. You can update your delivery address, payment details or cancel your subscription at any time. We have created a how-to guide to show you how to access and amend your TYG subscription. The majority of these functions can be performed in your dedicated account area.

Create a subscription

To create a subscription, simply visit any of our TYG product pages by clicking on shop and 'view products': 1. Choose "subscribe now" 2. Choose the frequency you want to receive your delivery, weekly or monthly 3. Click on view cart This will take you to the cart page, where you can review your order and proceed to the secure checkout. How to log into your account area From the homepage, under the heading shop, you will see a person icon- click on that. You will then either automatically be logged in or you will be prompted to enter the email address you used when you registered with us and your password.

Now you're in your TYG account area. Here you will be able to perform all actions related to your account. You have quick access to the main functionalities of the account from your dashboard. Orders - view your previous orders and subscriptions My subscription - manage your existing subscriptions On the left-hand side of the screen on desktop or at the top of the screen on mobile, you will also see: • Addresses - manage your addresses here. Add, remove, and amend • Payment methods - manage your payment methods. Add, remove, and set as preferred • Account details - manage your email address and password here. If you want to reset your password, this is where you can do it. • Logout - log out of your account

Manage your upcoming delivery

You can manage all aspects related to your upcoming delivery in the "my subscription" section of the account area. To access this, click on "my subscription" from the left-hand side menu on desktop or top-menu on mobile. Open the subscription you want to manage by clicking on "view delivery". Here you can manage all aspects of your delivery. Change your subscription - if you want to change the frequency of your subscription or the product you're subscribing to, you will need to cancel your current subscription and start a new one. Cancel a subscription - if you no longer want to receive this product, click on "cancel". Change address - you can either amend an existing address or add a brand new one. Change payment - you can either amend an existing payment method or add a brand new one. Renew now - if you'd like to receive your order sooner than scheduled, please select 'renew now' Then click "update subscription" to save your changes.
